Wrestling traveled to the Hettinger Classic over the weekend. Boys and girls basketball traveled to dickinson Trinity today for the Trinity shootout. In a close game, our varsity girls lose a tight one 44-43 to central McLean. Girls, you played a great game today. I'm sure you will meet the cougars again come regional tournament time. We know you will be ready for them. In the boys game, our bulldogs squared off vs a very good Beulah Miner team. A game of runs it was. The dawgs clawed their way back on more than one occasion. The miners seemed to always hit timely baskets. Final score in favor of the miners 67-57. Heads up boys. You are on the right track and we know you will learn from this loss. Huge CONGRATULATIONS in order for Sophia Headley! Today she surpassed 1000 career points! If people only knew the behind the scenes determination and hours this girl puts in the gym. This is a huge accomplishment! We are proud of you Sophia! #GODAWGS ❤️🐾🏀

Tuesday 1/14 girls basketball travels to Hettinger for a district matchup. Hettinger will have free admission for all fans. It is their ag appreciation night. Thanks

Boys basketball hosted the nighthawks from Hettinger/Scranton last night. C and JV both cruised to victories. Lots of improvement shown from these two squads. In varsity action, the nighthawks came ready to play. A physical and close game it was throughout most of the game. Our bulldogs were able to pull away in the 4th quarter. Final score in favor of the Dawgs 66-47. Great job boys. Up next is a non region matchup vs the miners from Beulah today. Game to be played at Dickinson Trinity. Game time is at 1:00 pm. It will be broadcast on NFHS.

It's GAME DAY for our Bowman County Bulldogs. Boys basketball host the night hawks from Hettinger/Scranton. Game times are: C- 4:00pm JV- 5:30pm V- 7:00pm BCEA is doing a fundraiser called "soups and hoops". Please come and support this great organization. All proceeds from soups and hoops go to Bowman County dollars for scholars. Dakota Western Bank is also proving FREE popcorn at tonights games. Beach traveled to bowman county tonight for a district match up. These ladies put on a show and are peaking at the right time. In addition, Congratulations to Sophia Headley! Tonight she broke her own previous single game scoring record of 32 points with a scorching 40 points tonight! Way to go Sophia and team. #GODAWGS ❤️🐾🏀

Before tip off of the varsity girls game tonight, we were able to recognize our 2024 state class B cross country champions. Our 5 time state champs, from Bowman County. What a great turnout we had to help celebrate these young men and all they have accomplished. Congrats on another great season.

34 BCHS high school health students were First Aid, CPR, and Stop the Bleed certified today. Thank you to our local ambulance staff for conducting the training.

Girls and boys C basketball teams were back at it this evening for a double header in South Heart. A great night for both squads as both teams come away with victories. Final score for the girls was 42-26. Final score for the boys 45-41. Great job bowman county.

C-Squad was was at Dickinson Trinity tonight for a girls and boys double header. In the girls game final score DAWGS 41 Titans 40 The girls were able to secure a game winning bucket with just a few seconds to go. In the boys game, another close game. Our bulldogs win a nail biter and narrowly defeat the titans by 3 points. Final score 49-46 in favor of the dawgs. What a hard fought battle by our c-squad teams today. Two games decided by a FG.
