Junior High boys basketball traveled to New England for games this evening. In the 7th grade game our boys fell behind 36 to 16 after 3 quarters. In the fourth quarter Bowman County made a furious comeback to close it to 38 32 before falling 40 to 32. Great effort gentleman. In the 8th grade game Bowman County fell behind early. At half time down 28 to 4. The boys fought hard though and even outscored the tigers 18-13 in the 2nd half. A great effort but just not enough to close the gap. Final score in favor of the tigers 41-22 Heads up boys. Love seeing the improvement

Junior high girls basketball hosted the Eagles from South Heart this evening. In the seventh grade game, both teams battled hard throughout the game. In a tightly contested contest, the eagles narrowly win by a score of 26-27. In the 8th grade game the Eagles came out hot and established a good lead in the first half. Late in the third-quarter our girls were able to apply some great full court pressure and force some turnovers. Bowman County was able to close the gap to single digits. Heading into the final quarter of play our girls slowly chipped away at the lead. A few timely buckets by the eagles though sealed the deal. In a very entertaining game, south heart wins by a score of 39-28. Great job girls. Enjoy your thanksgiving break everyone

The third quarter our girls shot well from the outside to increase their lead to nine points. In the fourth quarter, Beach girls were able to have some success playing zone and closed the gap late in the game. Ultimately our girls were able to hold on to their lead winning the game by a score of 30-23. Great job girls. 7th grade boys up next.
